Wholesale Distribution License

The wholesale distribution of medicines is an important activity in the optimal functioning of the pharmaceutical industry. Fourmed Warehouse complies with the rules on Good Distribution Practices for medicinal products for human use.
Our company ensures the control of the distribution chain and supports the wholesale distributors in carrying out their activity and in preventing the penetration of falsified medicines in the chain related to the distribution. Fourmed Warehouse makes use of all available means to minimize the risk of intrusion counterfeit medicines in the legal supply chain.
All medicines distributed in the EU by Fourmed Warehouse are subject to a marketing authorization granted by the EU or a Member State.

Any entity acting as a wholesale distributor must hold a wholesale distribution authorization. Fourmed Warehouse holds the wholesale distribution authorization number issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH), the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices (ANMDM) in Romania and the Certificate on Compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) The legal bases for issuing the authorization are: Law 95/2006 on the reformed in the field of republished health, Title XVII, Medicine, with subsequent amendments and completions and Order of the Minister of Public Health No. 131/2016 for the approval of the Norms regarding the authorization of the wholesale distribution units of medicines for human use, the certification of good distribution practice and the registration of the brokers of medicines for human use.
